I got lucky this time and the meet was only 20 minutes away so I went with a buddy. We got there an hour early at 8:30am and there were already 100 cars there! Shortly after getting there, loud music, dragons and fireworks came out of nowhere. It was the day before the Chinese New Year, and the year of the Dragon. They even had a huge tent setup with tons of Viet food (PHO!), karaoke, and even Krispy Kreme.

Of course, there were tons of cars. I’d guess 1,000 throughout the day. So many people that the lot was full and there was a line to get in. People lined up and down the streets and filled the parking lot of a nearby high school. The school was basically another meet! They even had a school bus carpool everyone back and forth the whole day. We saw everything from twin turbo Porches, swapped/boosted/stanced VW’s, track ready bimmers, matching black NSX’s, about every kind of work wheel you could imagine with stupid crazy sizes/offsets, oh and of course the Umbrella “Zombie response vehicle” (Wide body Scion TC Zombie killer with foot long spikes coming out of the front bumper). Needless to say, there was everything, and this video doesn’t even capture half of it.

We had a ton of fun, even though it was by far the coldest meet I’ve ever been to. Super windy and probably 30-40 degrees the whole time with zero sunlight. Lots of people turned their cars on and got in them just to warm up!

Nothing better than a minty fresh Ficus Green Prelude slammed on Works. Interesting lip kit combo of OEM front/Wings West side skirts/Mugen rear, but I gotta say it looks perfect. Looks like he painted his lip kit and added Mugen rear valances since his Canibeat feature, exactly what was missing.

Rumor has it that she is for sale, definitely worth finding out if you’re in the market!

From the Spoon brake calipers to the type-s wing, down to the JDM cup holder, everything is authentic JDM. Justin’s JDM Prelude was just featured in the November issue of Honda Tuning, and for good reason! Chances are, if it’s rare or JDM, it’s on this car.

We couldn’t help but notice the subtle mods that only your true Prelude nut would notice. Things such as the type-s body panels and spoiler, JDM gunmetal grill and of course the SiR red interior. You have to admire mods that won’t be noticed by the majority, a true fan of the BB6.

In a twist of fate, a hail storm put a dent (or many) in his plans. Luckily Justin’s insurance company took care of him and gave him enough money to fix and repaint his entire car (with the new JDM body panels) Grand Prix White.

Next comes the custom parts such as the carbon fiber door sills and armrest, Versace fabric covered headliner as well as TSX projector retrofits. Attention to detail makes this Prelude stand above the rest as one of the best we’ve ever seen.

Remember Tae’s RHD Prelude? Well he’s back and this time with a full Canibeat feature! You know you are doing something right when you land on the homepage of Canibeat.

From the article we find out that the build has been slowly pieced together over the last four years and is Tae’s first car! “Originally his Prelude was a bit “riced out” and looked like it was sponsored by Auto Zone but luckily he came to his senses and started turning his BB6 into the classy machine it currently is.” Canibeat couldn’t have said it any better, “Just BBeing Proper.”

As promised, we just finished removing the majority of the ads on our website! We have already noticed that this makes our site blazing fast, hope it works better for all you guys as well.
